USA Cycling (USAC) is a national organization supporting all forms of cycling year round.
Wisconsin Interscholastic Cycling League (WICL) is the Wisconsin state league of NICA.
National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) is a 4 month a year program built with a High School Intramural structure that culminates in a race series.
Root River Youth Cycling participates in the Wisconsin Off-road Series of mountain bike races sanctioned by USAC. America’s largest state MTB race series.
This FatBike (mostly fun) series during the fall/winter season gets a good showing from the team including coaches!
Root River Youth Cycling is represented at some Wisconsin CX Races. This is a USAC sanctioned series.
Root River Youth Cycling participates in NICA races, competing against other teams within the NICA Wisconsin league.
Root River Youth Cycling currently operates one NICA team, the Root River Youth Cycling (Composite) Team supported by students from Franklin, Greendale, Greenfield, Whitnall, Oak Creek, Cudahy, South Milwaukee, and St. Francis School Districts.
